I’m a digital content strategist for cultural heritage organizations, presently employed as the Director of Technology at the Denver Art Museum. The focus of my work is the structuring, organization, and presentation of interesting content using digital means. I’ve been a presenter at the Museum Computer Network, Museums and the Web, and Tate Handheld conferences, and am a founding member and current chairman of the MCN Semantic Web SIG. I was also a member of the steering committee for the steve project, and currently am a member of the steering committee for the ConservationSpace project.
My background and training are in music composition, and I still write a lot of music for various dance companies, the occasional short film, and the band Heart and Go, which is why this blog makes frequent diversions into that territory. You can also catch up with me on Twitter (I’m 5easypieces), LinkedIn, or, if that’s your thing, Last.fm. I would also love it if you were to buy my records, which you can do at Amazon, iTunes, or eMusic. Thanks for stopping by!
