Hey, kids–this Wednesday I’m playing with John Lindaman from the great True Love Always at the Luna Lounge in Brooklyn. Come on by around 8pm to see us play. We’ll be doing some TLA tunes, some new stuff, at least one George Michael song, and John’s mash-up of “Aguas de Marco” and the “Remix to ‘Ignition.’” It’s going to be one hell of a fine time. Oh, man, this is my new favorite thing. Some super-excellent dude, as a school project, did the opening credits for “Star Wars” as if they’d been created by Saul Bass, the legendary art director behind the credit sequences of those great Otto Preminger movies like “Anatomy of a Murder” and “The Man With the Golden Arm.” Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
